Meet Dr. Hsu

Dr. Jenny Hsu was born in Taiwan and grew up near Richmond, Virginia. She received a full scholarship from Virginia Commonwealth University and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in biology. While in high school and college, Dr. Jenny enjoyed working with children and volunteered to teach French, earth science and origami to elementary and middle school students. After college, Dr. Jenny pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of California Los Angeles School of Dentistry, where she received a Dean’s scholarship and the Richard T. Beech Scholarship. Dr. Jenny discovered her love of pediatric dentistry while serving underprivileged children during her dental mission trips to Ensenada, Mexico, and volunteering at local nonprofit mobile dental clinics for children.

Following her passion of working with children, Dr. Jenny achieved her pediatric dentistry specialist certificate at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Jenny has been in private practice in Northern and Southern California since 2007. She is an active member in her community and participates in Tooth Fairy oral hygiene visits to local schools and libraries. She believes in preventing disease through oral hygiene education and providing a relaxed and welcoming environment for each patient. She is excited to have a dental home right here in Dublin. She offers comprehensive quality dental care, including preventive treatments (sealants and silver diamine fluoride) and restorative treatments (white resin fillings and crowns) under nitrous sedation and general anesthesia. Her goal is to give each child a healthy smile and positive attitude toward oral care that will last a lifetime.

Dr. Jenny is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association® and California Dental Association. Today, Dr. Jenny lives in Pleasanton with her two adorable daughters, Audri and Mila; and fur babies, Skinnie and Steve. They enjoy going to the beach, cooking and biking together. As an avid scuba diver, Dr. Jenny is thrilled to join the Atlantis Orthodontics and Pediatric Dental Specialists team and loves working at the ocean-themed office. Dr. Jenny is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
